winter break has only made me jones for those long, warm summer days. the roads have been dusted with white powder and the icicles are growing longer each day. if it were up to me, i'd exchange the white powder for summer rain and the icicles to popcicles. i suppose only in time.
i have even been playing my favorite songs that remind me of my dearest summer memories. my heart grows warm just thinking about those four warm months of bliss. i love listening to an album that directs me to a time when the living was easy and carefree.

7. manchester orchestra "mean everything to nothing"
the decemberists, andrew bird and justice mix in quite well also.
