zac posen = afforable!

i'm sure this is old news to the internet world, especially amongst fashionistas...therefore i am a bit ashamed to have discovered just news!

ZAC POSEN, the next international GO designer for target, launches APRIL 25?!

AHHHHMAZING. i am seriously so excited. in the past, i skipped on alexander mcqueen, erin fetherston and even the recent rodarte line. regretful? absolutely. i had to hunt down the EF heart coat on ebay and still cannot manage to find the big red heart tote these days! i'll definitely be taking advantage of posen's line though. who wouldn't?! the dresses are just adorable and it looks like this is going to be a high quality line, unlike some of the featured designers that design for h&m. here is a photo of one of my favorite dresses by the ZP go line! what do you think?

all natural.

so for my photo assignment i shot my beautiful friend, sami. the lighting is pure window lighting. the second photo i definitely lucked out with the reflection of the snow and the dark shadows of the room we were in made the coloring just perfect in my opinion.

wild hearts can't be broken.

i'm definitely obsessed with wildfox couture. there's something oddly feminine and quite sexy about pairing oversized tees with leggings. it's comfortable yet fashion forward, and that's something any girl would want. i'm also just in love with the composition in these fascinating photographs. i dearly love you, WFC.

completely (overwhelmed)

i didn't realize how little time i had to spend freely...until, that is, i created this blog. i always make posting my priority but then i notice the stack of books on my desk needing to be studied and the "responsible" part of me always goes for the coffee and homework mix instead. i may be a little behind in posts until i get settled in at the university. PLUS we've been loosing power frequently thanks to the heavy snowstorms, so forgive me please. le sigh.

i have been working on an album with some of my closest mates. we have finally wrapped things up and i am happy to announce to you THE WILD COMPLETE.

must-haves (for winter.)

being snowed in makes for quite the lazy day. my roommates and i played in the snow this morning and built a big snowman. i decorated his face with m&m's and a celery stick for a nose. he turned out to be quite colorful and well, abstract. all those days of doing arts&crafts have paid off.

since i have been unable to leave the house, i have been reading all day, hot cocoa in hand. i finally had the time to read the "Teen Vogue Handbook" which is filled with knowledge and beautiful photographs. Any one who is interested in getting into the fashion industry (designing, public relations, marketing, you name it!) i definitely suggest this book! editors and other big industry names give tips on how to break in.

since it has been so chilly and snowy here, i have been able to dig up the winter accessories! i finally put my juicy couture mittens and earmuffs to good use, along with my new erin fetherston coat. these three items are my definite must-haves for this long season of icicles and snow.
